We discovered these wonderful cigars hidden away in our huge basement humidor eight or ten years ago. No one at this point seems to know their blend or provenance, other than the fact that the cases say they were rolled by hand in Honduras. These cigars have been aging patiently for eight or ten years since they were found; who knows how long before that.
Here's what I do know for sure: Oh. My. Gawd! A Rip VanWinkle's sleep has made for one super mellow smoke! Rich in flavor, but smokes like stone washed silk. I taste nuts and honey, with a touch of salt. I don't know how to say it other than the tobaccos have achieved a unity that you just do not find. Anywhere.
Now we just need to find people who can really enjoy them.
Priced to move.
Plus, if you order twenty, we will throw in four more for free!
One thing you should know is, these cigars tend to be super tight. You may need a cigar poker or ice pick to make one work.
